NECCA Indoor Championships

Day 1 Saturday. After being loaded with a heavy cold all week  and being sick during her breakfast on the morning of competition we feared the worst. But Emily being Emily had other ideas. I’m ok to compete she said so off we went.

First up the long jump and a fantastic last jump of 3.71m secured Emily a great silver medal . Straight after was over to the shot putt. A very good series of throws again her best on the last throw of 8,66m secured another silver medal . Very happy indeed.

Day 2 Sunday. A below par Emily obviously feeling the effects of the last week Emily competed in the 60m in a slow time of 9.58s.

A good weekend and also a learning curve. No competition for 3 weeks so down to hard training and fully prepare for the last indoor competition of Emily’s season in mid March.
